Cowes Week 2009 a great success!

My team is back from Cowes Week 2009. We have had a very successful week, with lots of hard racing. The racing was tough but we learnt a lot. I am very pleased, as I got my message across the 'being deaf does not mean you cant achieve things in life'.
We also made it on Solent TV which was very pleasing.

Off to Cowes Week 2009 tomorrow!

My coach, Richard Beardsley and I are off to Cowes Week 2009 tomorrow. We are both really excited and look forward to a week of hard racing. We are sailing a Sigma 33 keelboat which is in the black group and we will be racing in the Class 7.

We will be racing with a team of 6 people, all from Oxford Sailing Club. We are hoping for better weather and wind this year as last year, it was not too good!
